Softonic review

A great tool for anyone writing a thesis

If you have to write a thesis, project or your end of course assignment, then compiling a bibliography can be a daunting task.

EndNote allows you to compile references, write notes and a bibliography in the same format as that required by most major educational establishments. It can however be adapted to use the format of your choice or requirements.

The program works by scanning the net for set texts that you've entered into the search engine and then compiling a bibliography based on the results. It also features a very useful "Cite While You Write" option which integrates citations from books and texts as you write. The problem is that, especially when using the search tool, it can't search every single available text out there and you may find that it doesn't find texts relating to your particular area of study.

EndNote can save many hours of painful bibliography writing and cross referencing in just a few easy searches.

With EndNote X4 researchers can import and search PDF files, collaborate more with EndNote Web, use new Cite While You Write features and more.
